- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Our son was diagnosed (by previous psychiatrist) with depression and bipolar disorder. After nearly a year of treatment and no improvement we were forced to hospitalize him for suicidal threats. He was admitted to Cook Childrens Hospital in Ft Worth, TX. Dr. Murphy was his attending physician. Our son immediately liked and trusted him, as did we. Dr Murphy took him off ALL medications and started his evaluation and diagnosis from square one. Dr Murphy corrected his diagnosis to severe anxiety and placed him on a low dose anxiety/depression medication. We got immediate and positive results. He has had NO further problems and is doing great! Dr Murphy saved our son from a misdiagnosis of BP. We love Dr Murphy and now back to Ft Worth, TX from our new home in IL just to see Dr Murphy.October 19, 2017by A Google User
