  The Worst!!! Like waiting, like poor service, you'll like this hospital!!! If you expect more... good luck!!! Checked into room, waited over an hour for pillows and vital signs to be checked along with "check in" questions to begin. Snack brought was uneatable sandwich which looked like it was well over a day old. Staff was not available when needed...complained that they had one nurse per 5 patients.Day Head Nurse Gina-6th floor- was way too busy to give instruction when needed for discharge purposes. When asked, I was given the stinky eye look and told she had told me twice that she would....oddly she didn't...just as I had anticipated. We rarely saw nurse and if needed one, took a long time to appear! When asked for assistance, was treated like we were an inconvenience. Basically, this was not a pleasant experience. Over the past three months, we have also been in Baylor and Harris hospitals.....Plaza Medical-floor 6 was memorable for all the wrong reasons!!!! If your doctor tells you to report to Plaza Medical, ask if there's another hospital he/she will use if at all possible. Sad to think that this was once the country club of hospitals, serving wine, etc.....operating off it's old 70's reputation....trust me,,,,,it's not the same! Discharge info was confusing....couldn't wait to get out of facilty. Acts like more of a self-help location. The most helpful were the TCU intern nursing students....and they weren't getting paid. BEWARE OF THE PLAZA MEDICAL CARE>>IT"S A SCARE WHEN YOU ARE THERE!!!!!!
