- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Tabor is a life saver. My daughter was originally diagnosed with anacephaly and we were given a terminal diagnosis. After reaching out to Dr. Tabor's office for a second opinion, armed with a video we were able to get another sonogram for comparison. In that moment he told us that there was nothing wrong with our daughter, that her diagnosis was Spina Bifida and would be able to lead a normal life, he even was able to accurately tell us exacly what limitations she would have. Remember, the first doctor had already given me the option to terminate. I can't imagine how many parents have had to deal with a wrong diagnosis and such an emotional journey. I remember his words still.. "There is nothing wrong with your baby, this baby will attend A&M if she wants to". Well, 17 years later she will be a senior in High School and after graduation plans on attending A&M (ironically her choice) to recieve a degree as a Child Life Specialist! I highly recommend Dr. Tabor to be honest and thorough in your and baby's care. Also kudos to his staff, including the most informed genetics counselor.
