  I was referred by a family friend to see Dr. Wiley, and scheduled a month out. The intake process was quick. I was taken to a room and the nurse asked if they had given me X-Rays and I responded that I had brought my own and that they were taken less than 30 days ago, and that X-Ray Tech reviewed them and said they were acceptable. She got frustrated and complained that they should always take new X-Rays new patients. I explained to her that I'm on self pay and I'd appreciate if they would use the X-Rays I brought. She then stated, "Well if you are on self pay that changes things." This struck me as odd, it seems like they are perfectly willing rack up your bill if the insurance company is paying. I then waited an hour for Dr. Wiley to arrive, whom I specifically scheduled with because of a referral, and then they bring in a Dr. Mitchell who spent about 5 minutes having me walk across the room, bend side to side, felt my lumbar, and then reviewed my X-Rays. Dr. Mitchell then told me exactly what I already knew (from a chiropractor). He spent zero time discussing the grade or whether my condition is stable or unstable and he didn't even recommend an MRI. All of which I believe is standard guidelines in properly diagnosing the severity of this condition. In the end it cost me $250 to fill out a new patient packet, wait in a room for an hour and see a doctor for 10 minutes. I left with no more information than when I arrived. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
