- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪While Dr. Howell was nice while I was pregnant, the delivery was an awful experience. When I was in the delivery room, pushing, and Dr Rainier (who was sweet) was attending me because Dr Howell was not around on a Friday night, they changed my doctor and a doctor who was not from the practice and who hardly communicated with me delivered my baby. He performed an episiotomy which seemed unnecessary. In my opinion, this hospitalist (or independent contractor of the hospital), just wanted to seepd up the process. So they seem to be ok for routine care but neither Harris Southwest nor the practice handled my delivery well. In addition, none of the doctors from the practice visited me until the second day in the hospital even though I did not have a good experience.February 18, 2017by Vanessa Casado-Pérez
